Forage Mendocino is an educational events Organization focused on the sustainable and ethical harvest of wild foods. We wish to improve foraging land access; advocate for Tribal access to ancestral foraging lands; and preserve and restore wild food habitat on the Mendocino Coast and surrounding regions. We manage the popular Facebook group “Forage Mendocino” of over 13,000 like-minded foragers, mycologists, and hobbyists. Forage Mendocino is in the process of becoming a Non-Profit Organization (501 C3).  We are currently seeking community participation in the form of volunteers, consulting, fiscal sponsors, angel investors, partnerships with businesses and non-profit organizations.
